While many Americans have been led to believe that fats are bad, we are here to tell you that our fat is good. That's because Wagyu is finely marbled throughout the meat, creating higher proportions of monosaturated fats, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and is lower in cholesterol than commodity beef.
Wagyu is a Japanese cattle breed genetically inclined to produce beef that has exceptional marbling. "Wagyu" literally translates to "Japanese cow" in English, where "Wa" means Japanese and "gyu" means cow. Since the first import of these cattle from Japan to the US in 1976, Wagyu has been highly coveted.
The beef from our Wagyu cattle takes red meat to a whole new level that is beyond Prime. Just ask anyone who has eaten a Full Blood Wagyu steak or the many chefs or connoisseurs of good food who will tell you that this is simply the finest beef you can ever put on the dinner table.
